Brandon Bee

Gabrielle and I had the opportunity to photograph producer/solo artist Brandon Bee for his upcoming album “Armored Savior.” The whole George Washington getup will make a lot more sense once the album artwork by Jordan Butcher comes out. Here’s one of the shots… I’ve gotta say, when Seattle isn’t raining, the natural light can be [...]

Eras

Eras plays beautiful, atmospheric music with a tinge of the melancholy. It’s kinda like a quiet winters day in your headphones. I had the opportunity to photograph them and hear some of their music from their upcoming ep. You can check them out at their myspace.

The Moondoggies

There’s a chance you haven’t yet heard of Subpop/Hardly Art’s newest artist, The Moondoggies. Brian & Lisa

We had a great time hanging out with Brian and Lisa and photographing their wedding announcement pictures. We concepted a fun/cheesy “story” of them meeting and falling in love. Gabrielle was the stylist for the shoot.

Emery Outtakes

Here are some fun Holga shots from this past weekend’s shoot of the band Emery. They’ve got a new EP releasing October 28, 2008 off of Tooth & Nail Records. Great band, great guys.

The Major Cities

I photographed Indie Pop maestro Josh Dobson, aka the Major Cities for his upcoming release. American Apparel did a little write up on the photos…

Arthur & Yu

Subpop’s new imprint Hardly Art is a small but mighty Seattle label with a handful of indie darlings. It is almost freakish how talented their roster is. One such band is the talented duo Arthur & Yu who play dreamy, 60’s era pop. I photographed them for their upcoming release “In Camera.”
