We Lived As Kings / Greg Lutze Photography

I have been taking pictures (seriously) for over five years now. I’ve explored all different types of styles, cameras and films. I began my career photographing bands and while I continue to do that I find I’m less and less inspired by that prospect. I’m at a point where I generally know what I like and what I want to shoot. And while I don’t want to pigeonhole myself into anything, for the next year or so I am going to focus on natural light editorial/fashion portraiture and my personal projects of shopping cart aisles, americana and the street that I live on in Seattle.

In addition to trying to further my photography eye I am establishing better business practices- branding, promotion, new site, etc. It will be the first time I’ve ever attempted to promote myself and do things “right.” I’ll be blogging about my process on the way- sharing my insights and tips for the design and marketing arenas.
